Scarf is a cut piece of cloth worn on head or neck. Scarf is basically used in cold places to keep the head and ears warm. But now it has become a fashion. There are different colors and style of scarves available.

It was Ancient Rome who invented scarf. But they invented it not to protect themselves from cold but to keep themselves clean. In Latin scarf is named as sudarium but in English its name is scarf only. It was used to clean sweat from face and neck and is largely used in deserted areas.
